Gerald Barrett, a Soloist with A. L. Efficacy Movement Dance and Theatre Company, was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and started dance training at the age of 10. His local training included ballet, jazz, and modern dance and landed him a spot in the prestigious Julliard School and the Boston Conservatory where he trained and was educated towards a BFA in dance. Gerald also attended the Alvin Ailey American Dance School in New York, NY and later was accepted into the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble in Rochester, Michigan. Gerald has been a featured dancer, choreographer and instructor in the U.S., Europe, South America, and Canada.
